The Ssemagulu Royal Museum in Kampala is a private museum devoted to the heritage of the Buganda kingdom and the wider cultures of Uganda. Its densely packed galleries display royal regalia, traditional weapons, drums, tools, currency and everyday objects assembled by a dedicated collector. Exhibits interpret Buganda's monarchy, customs and the history of the peoples of the region. Reconstructions and photographs illustrate ceremonies and daily life across generations.
