National Museum and Art Gallery of Papua New Guinea

The country's principal cultural institution stands in the Waigani district of Port Moresby, near the parliament and government precinct. Its collections span the astonishing diversity of Papua New Guinean art, including Sepik carvings, malangan figures, ceremonial masks and gable ornaments from spirit houses.
