This modern building at the edge of the Adelaide Botanic Garden celebrates the country's wine industry, fittingly located in a city surrounded by famous grape-growing regions. Its curved timber-and-glass form evokes a wine barrel, and inside an interactive exhibition traces the story of Australian wine from vine to glass. Visitors can taste wines from across the nation and stroll through a demonstration vineyard on the grounds. Managed in association with the local university, the centre supports wine education and events.
