This waterfront precinct on the Swan River was created to reconnect central Perth with its foreshore, opening in 2016 around a man-made inlet lined with promenades and public art. A pedestrian bridge arcs across the water, and the area holds restaurants, a playground, an island and event spaces. Ferries depart from the quay to cross the river, and the precinct forms a focus for city celebrations and light displays. It has become a lively gathering point for residents and visitors along the waterfront.
