Mystery Tombstone, Tobago

This much-visited grave in the churchyard at Plymouth on Tobago bears a cryptic 18th-century inscription puzzling over a woman who was, in the epitaph's words, kind though married yet not a mother. The riddle of its meaning has intrigued visitors for generations and made the modest headstone a curiosity of the island.
