This coastal park stretches along the rugged Atlantic shore of the Scotland District, a gift from a bank to the people of Barbados in the 1960s. Casuarina trees shade lawns and a picnic pavilion set back from a long, wind-swept beach where the ocean surf is too rough for safe swimming. The setting offers a striking contrast to the calm western coast, with rolling hills rising inland. It is a popular stop for viewing the wild windward scenery around Bathsheba.
