A prominent granite hill on the southwestern edge of Gaborone, often called the sleeping giant for its long profile above the city. A popular hiking trail climbs to the summit through rocky bush where baboons and dassies live, rewarding walkers with a sweeping view over the capital and the dam. The hill is a favoured spot for exercise, sunrise walks and casual climbing close to the built-up area. Its rounded boulders and open slopes make it one of the most accessible natural landmarks in the region.
