A privately founded ethnographic museum in Yaoundé assembled around a personal collection of African art and cultural objects. Its rooms are crowded with masks, fertility figures, ancestral statues, royal stools, weaponry and ritual items drawn largely from Cameroon's kingdoms and neighbouring peoples. The founder conceived the museum as a way to keep heritage pieces in the country rather than abroad, and guided explanations connect each object to its ceremonial use.
