The Church of Notre-Dame de Lourdes is a modernist Catholic church in Casablanca, completed in the 1950s and notable for its walls of vast stained-glass windows. Designed with a stark concrete structure, its interior is transformed by more than eight hundred square metres of coloured glass created by the artist Gabriel Loire, which flood the nave with shifting light and abstract imagery. The plain exterior gives little hint of the luminous space within. It is among the finest twentieth-century religious buildings in Morocco.
