Musée Yves Saint Laurent Marrakech

This museum, opened in 2017 beside the Majorelle Garden, is devoted to the work of couturier Yves Saint Laurent, who found lasting inspiration in Marrakesh. Designed by Studio KO, its terracotta-brick facade is patterned to evoke the warp and weft of fabric. Inside, a rotating selection of garments, sketches and photographs from the archive is shown in a darkened hall, alongside exhibition space, a research library, an auditorium and a café. Its contemporary geometry makes it a highlight of the Guéliz district.
