Delgosha Garden is one of the historic Persian gardens of Shiraz, laid out with terraces, water channels, and orange groves near the tomb of the poet Saadi. Its origins reach back to pre-Islamic times, though the surviving pavilion and layout largely date from later centuries. A central axis of pools leads the eye toward a two-storey mansion decorated with painted and mirrored rooms. Visitors can wander beneath citrus trees, whose blossom scents the air in spring, in a garden whose name means heart's delight.
