Bait Al Zubair

A private museum in old Muscat housed in restored family buildings, presenting Omani heritage, crafts and everyday life. Its collections include traditional weapons, jewellery, costumes, household objects and photographs documenting the country's past. Set in the historic quarter near the old palace, the museum also lays out a reconstructed village in its grounds. Established by a prominent Omani family, it offers one of the most detailed introductions to the culture of the sultanate.
