Sanur

Sanur is a coastal district on the eastern side of Denpasar, one of the earliest beach resorts developed on Bali and long favoured for its calm, reef-sheltered waters and relaxed atmosphere. A paved promenade runs for several kilometres along the shore, passing fishing boats, cafes and shady trees, and is popular for morning walks and cycling. The area is known for its sunrise views over the strait toward the mainland, in contrast to the sunset coasts elsewhere.
