Bali Arts Centre

The Bali Arts Centre, or Taman Werdhi Budaya, is the principal venue for the performing and visual arts in Denpasar, set in extensive gardens of pavilions, ponds and traditional architecture. It hosts the annual Bali Arts Festival, a month-long celebration in which dance troupes, gamelan orchestras and craftspeople from across the island present performances, processions and exhibitions. Permanent galleries display paintings, sculpture and masks, while open-air stages accommodate large audiences.
