Pasar Badung is the largest traditional market in Denpasar and a hub of daily commerce for the Balinese capital. Spread over several floors, its crowded stalls sell fresh produce, spices, tropical fruit, flowers and the woven palm-leaf offerings central to Hindu ritual, alongside textiles, household goods and ready-cooked food. Traders and shoppers fill the aisles from early morning, and the market is closely tied to the ceremonial life of the city, supplying materials for temple festivals.
