Peranakan Museum

The Peranakan Museum in Singapore is devoted to the culture of the Straits-born Chinese and other creole communities whose blended heritage shaped the region. Housed in a restored former school building, its galleries display beaded slippers, embroidered garments, porcelain, jewellery, and carved furniture illustrating Peranakan weddings, food, and domestic life.
