This temple in the Bang Khun Phrom area is dominated by an enormous standing Buddha image that rises roughly thirty metres and took decades to complete. Covered in gold mosaic and topped by a spire said to enshrine a relic, the towering figure is visible from surrounding streets and draws a steady stream of worshippers. The grounds include smaller shrines and a museum-like hall, and the location north of the main tourist cluster gives it a more local, everyday devotional feel.
