Standing near the Bara Imambara and the Rumi Darwaza, this tall Victorian-era clock tower is among the highest in India, built in the late 19th century in a Gothic style. Its slender brick shaft, decorated with intricate ironwork and a large pendulum clock, rises above a landscaped park by the Gomti River. Illuminated at night, it forms a scenic ensemble with the surrounding Awadhi monuments. The tower is a favourite gathering point and appears in many views of Lucknow's historic riverfront skyline.
