A landscaped park terraced into the hillside above Admiralty, opened in 1991 on the grounds of a former British military barracks. It combines waterfalls, ponds, and a conservatory with a vast walk-through aviary spanning a wooded ravine, home to hundreds of tropical birds. The preserved colonial-era Flagstaff House, the oldest Western building in the territory, houses a museum of tea ware within the grounds. Skyscrapers loom on every side, making the greenery, fountains, and birdsong a striking pocket of calm in the business district.
