A restored street of Qing-era and Japanese-era shophouses in the old Monga district, preserving arcaded brick facades and timber shutters that once lined a bustling commercial lane. The block escaped redevelopment and now serves as a heritage education centre with exhibitions on local history and traditional trades. Its weathered walls and covered walkways have featured in Taiwanese cinema, drawing photographers to the interplay of red brick, arches, and low afternoon light. Small galleries and pop-up displays occupy the former merchant houses.
