The permanent home of the Busan International Film Festival, a striking piece of contemporary architecture in the Centum City district completed in 2011. Its defining feature is an enormous cantilevered roof, one of the longest of its kind, whose underside is embedded with a vast field of LED lights that stage nightly displays. The complex holds indoor cinemas, an outdoor theater seating thousands, and event spaces used for the festival and year-round cultural programming. Its bold form has made it a landmark of the city's eastern quarter.
