A small former island, now a wooded headland joined to the mainland at the end of Haeundae Beach in Busan, named for the camellia and pine forest that covers it. A coastal boardwalk loops around its rocky shore past a lighthouse, a mermaid statue drawn from local legend, and viewpoints looking back toward the beach and across to the towers of Marine City and the long suspension bridge beyond. A landmark convention center where a major international summit was once held stands nearby, and the promontory is a favorite gentle walk by the sea.

Where next?
