A preserved traditional village in Gyeongju centered on the historic estate of the wealthy Choe family, whose ancestral home and granary illustrate the life of the landed gentry over many generations. The tiled-roof compound sits amid a cluster of hanok houses, workshops, and a well-known local liquor brewery, near the sacred Gyerim grove and a restored bridge over a stream. Visitors can tour the old residence and sample traditional foods and crafts in a living corner of the ancient capital.
