A cluster of five grassy royal burial mounds in Gyeongju traditionally associated with the earliest rulers and the founding queen of the Silla kingdom. The great earthen tumuli rise from a manicured lawn ringed by pine forest, with a small shrine and ceremonial hall dedicated to the dynasty's legendary founder standing nearby. Quieter than the more famous tomb park in the city center, the site offers a peaceful walk among some of the oldest monuments of the ancient kingdom, set close to the sacred grove and palace ruins.
