Built on the site of a historic brewery in the Ebisu district, this large mixed-use complex combines offices, a department store, a hotel, and restaurants around a central plaza famous for its seasonal illuminations and a huge crystal chandelier displayed each winter. A re-created European-style glass-roofed arcade and a beer museum recall the site's brewing heritage, and a tall office tower offers city views. The elegant open plaza, popular as a film backdrop, makes the development pleasant for shopping and evening strolls.
