The third and smallest of the fortified towers strung along the ridge of Mount Titano, standing apart from its larger companions on a separate rocky summit. Unlike the other two it is closed to visitors, but its silhouette completes the trio depicted on the republic's flag and coat of arms. A deep dungeon within was once used as a prison. The walk out to its base along the crest gives fine views over the surrounding hills and the distant Adriatic coast.
