Mother Teresa Memorial House

This striking modern building in central Skopje honours the missionary and Nobel laureate Mother Teresa, who was born in the city. Standing near the site of the church where she was baptised, its unconventional glass and stone forms rise to a slender chapel-topped tower. Inside, displays trace her early life in Skopje and her later humanitarian work, alongside personal items and a small memorial chapel. The house has become a place of reflection for visitors and a point of pride connecting the capital to one of its most famous natives.
