This hill on the southern edge of Innsbruck combines a famous ski jump with a battlefield of Tyrolean history. The current ski jump tower, a sweeping steel-and-glass structure designed by Zaha Hadid, rises from the slope and holds a cafe and viewing platform at its top with panoramas over the city. The arena below hosts a stage of the annual Four Hills tournament. The surrounding slopes saw the battles led by Andreas Hofer against Napoleon's forces, commemorated by a large bronze statue and a panorama museum nearby.
