This cultural and leisure center occupies a former early twentieth-century wine warehouse in the heart of the city, dramatically reimagined by a French designer. The vast brick building was raised on a forest of forty-three individually themed columns, creating an open plaza beneath the structure. Inside are a library, cinema, exhibition halls, and a swimming pool with a glass floor visible from below. The bold conversion preserved the industrial shell while inserting a playful, eclectic interior that became a symbol of the city's regeneration.
