On the southwestern riverfront, this contemporary park was created in the 1990s on the site of a former Citroën car factory, giving it its name. Its bold design combines geometric lawns, glasshouse conservatories, colour-themed serial gardens and dramatic water features including canals and dancing fountains. A tethered helium balloon rises from the central meadow, carrying visitors aloft for panoramic views across Paris. The mix of formal architecture and wilder planting reflects a modern reinterpretation of the French garden tradition.
