On the rue Saint-Martin near the Arts et Métiers, this church grew from a medieval chapel serving the priory of Saint-Martin-des-Champs into a substantial parish church over several centuries. Its long construction gives it a mix of Gothic and Renaissance features, including a striking south portal in classical style. Inside, a monumental altarpiece and a historic organ, played by generations of noted musicians, are among its treasures. The building anchors a quarter that retains a strong sense of old working Paris.
