One of the few surviving Jacobean plantation houses in the Western Hemisphere, dating to the 1650s and set among mahogany groves in northern Barbados. The estate still produces small-batch rum on site, and a heritage railway runs through the surrounding cane fields to a lookout at Cherry Tree Hill.
