Named after the island's mythical sea god, the House of Manannan in Peel uses immersive reconstructions to explore Manx maritime and Celtic-Norse heritage, from a Viking longhouse to the odorous realism of a kipper yard. A full-size replica of the sea-going Viking boat Odin's Raven anchors the displays. It sits on the quayside a short walk from Peel's beach and castle, making it an easy addition to a day in the town.
