Glen Maye is one of the island's national glens, a steep wooded ravine on the west coast where a waterfall tumbles through mossy rock before the stream meets the sea at a shingle cove. A well-kept path descends past the falls and follows the water down to the shore, linking with the coastal footpath toward Niarbyl. Ferns, wild garlic and dense broadleaf canopy give it a lush, sheltered character.
