Cape Enrage juts into the Bay of Fundy as a narrow sandstone headland capped by a lighthouse established in 1840 and is one of the most photographed coastal features in New Brunswick. Rapid tidal currents, often the strongest in the bay at this location, create turbulent water and standing waves visible from the cliff edge viewpoints. Rappelling and zip-line operations make use of the 50-metre sandstone cliffs, and the tidal flats exposed at low tide can be walked.
