Fronting the Bay of Fundy, which experiences the world's highest tidal range at up to 16 metres, this national park combines coastal intertidal zones with inland forests, valleys, and waterfalls. The dramatic twice-daily tidal cycle exposes vast mudflats rich with shorebirds and marine invertebrates before refilling the bay with astonishing speed. Interior trails pass through old-growth Acadian forest and alongside salmon rivers.
