The Plain of Six Glaciers is a high-elevation trail beginning at the western shore of Lake Louise and ascending through lateral moraine deposits to a viewpoint overlooking the Victoria, Lefroy, and Aberdeen glaciers converging above the valley floor. The trail gains 365 metres over 5.5 kilometres, finishing at a stone teahouse constructed by Swiss guides in the early twentieth century that still operates during summer months. The route offers changing perspectives of the glaciated terrain at each switchback.
