A multi-strand waterfall in the north of Bali's Buleleng regency, Sekumpul is widely considered the most impressive waterfall on the island. A series of separate streams plunge up to 80 meters down cliff faces draped in tropical vegetation into a jungle pool, and the approach through rice paddies and river gorges along a steep descent of over 300 steps adds to the immersive experience. The light entering the canyon in the late morning illuminates the mist rising from the base pools.
