One of only a small number of pink-sand beaches in the world, this stretch on the eastern coast of Komodo Island derives its distinctive hue from fragments of red coral mixed into the pale sand. The waters immediately offshore are shallow and clear, with healthy coral gardens accessible by snorkel. Access is typically via day trip or liveaboard from Labuan Bajo, with visitor numbers controlled by park authorities.
