A coastal city on the Han River in central Vietnam, Đà Nẵng is flanked by My Khe Beach to the east and the Marble Mountains — five limestone outcrops containing temples and cave shrines — to the south. The Bà Nà Hills resort complex rises steeply west of the city and includes the French Village hilltop development and the photogenic Golden Bridge supported by two giant stone hands. The city serves as the main gateway for visits to both Hội An and Mỹ Sơn.
