The Sun Wheel is a giant Ferris wheel on the bank of the Han River in the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang, part of the riverside Asia Park entertainment complex. Rising about 115 metres, it was among the tallest observation wheels in the world when it opened in 2014. Its air-conditioned cabins carry riders on a slow rotation with views over the river, the city's illuminated bridges and the coastline stretching toward the mountains. Brightly lit after dark, the wheel is a landmark of the city's waterfront.
