Encircled on three sides by a wide bend of the Nakdong River and backed by pine-forested hillside, Hahoe is a UNESCO-listed living village where clan descendants have occupied the same Joseon-period thatched and tiled houses for more than 600 years. The traditional mask dance drama — Hahoe Byeolsingut Talnori — originated here and is performed regularly for visitors in an open-air setting.
