Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass at 3,978 metres on the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh, connecting the Kullu Valley to the Lahaul and Spiti districts. The pass sits on the main watershed of the Himalayas and offers views of glaciers, rivers, and mountain peaks from a single vantage point. Snow is generally present from October to June, drawing visitors even in summer months, while the drive up through alpine meadows and moraines is itself a highlight.
