Dubai Creek

This natural tidal inlet bisects historic Dubai, dividing the old merchant districts of Deira and Bur Dubai. Traditional wooden abras ferry passengers across the water past anchored dhows still laden with trade goods, offering a rare glimpse of the city's mercantile heritage. The creek's northern banks are lined with spice and gold souks dating back to the early twentieth century.
