Klosters is a smaller resort village in the Prättigau valley north of Davos, sharing a ski area with its neighbour via the Gotschnabahn cable car. The village has retained a quieter, village character compared to the more commercialised Davos, with timber-framed houses and a compact pedestrian centre. Its slopes, particularly the Madrisa area above Klosters Dorf, are well-regarded for off-piste terrain.
