Davos is the highest town in the Alps at 1,560 metres, situated in the Landwasser valley of Graubünden. It is known for the Parsenn and Jakobshorn ski areas and for the World Economic Forum annual meeting held in January. The surrounding Davos-Klosters ski region is one of the largest in Switzerland, linking several valleys and peaks via an interconnected lift system.
