A 189-metre hill rising directly above the centre of Ålesund, reached by a stairway of 418 steps from the town. The summit platform offers a 360-degree view over the Art Nouveau rooftops, the surrounding archipelago of islets, and the open sea beyond. On clear days the Sunnmøre Alps are visible to the east, providing a backdrop of snow-capped peaks above the coastal landscape.
