A group of seven separate streams plunging down the mountainside above Geirangerfjord, collectively dropping around 250 metres before reaching the water below. Each of the seven falls runs independently down a steep granite face, and they are most powerful in late spring and early summer when snowmelt is at its height. The falls are visible from cruise ships and ferry crossings on the fjord.
