The Auditorio Nacional on Paseo de la Reforma is one of the largest and busiest performance venues in Mexico City, seating close to 10,000. Rebuilt in the early 1990s from an older structure, it hosts major concerts, popular music, opera, ballet and award ceremonies, and consistently ranks among the highest-grossing arenas in the world. A giant bronze sculpture and broad plaza mark its entrance near the Chapultepec woods. Its scale makes it the go-to stage for international touring acts visiting the capital.
