Torre Sevilla is a curving glass skyscraper on the Isla de la Cartuja beside the Guadalquivir river in Seville, designed by the Argentine architect César Pelli and completed in 2015. Rising about 178 metres, it is the tallest building in Andalusia and a controversial addition to a city otherwise dominated by low historic rooftops. The tower houses offices and a hotel, and its upper mirador offers wide views over the old city, the river and the plain. Its construction near the World Heritage centre drew scrutiny.
